RZR MKR
Harnessing the revolutionary power of 3D Printing with an immersive 3DWeb experience to design and build unique Gillette razors.
Gillette - RZR MKR
In a rapidly evolving razor market, Gillette were seeking to boost their profile while demonstrating their commitment to innovation.
3D Printing provided an opportunity to test a new production process to rapidly iterate on a greater diversity of razor handle designs.
This process was made available to consumers on a dedicated website for customising their own 3D Printed razor handle and have it shipped to them.
The website itself reflected the cutting-edge aspect of the 3D Printing process by means of a rich 3D interface utilising WebGL technology. On the site, users could customise the shape, form, colour and apply extruded text to their razor design while learning about 3D Printing.
